The Board of Acupuncture

The Florida Board of Acupuncture plays an integral role in health care regulation as the board members and staff interact regularly with other acupuncture affiliated groups in Florida as well as national organizations.

The board is made up of 7 members: 5 licensed Florida acupuncturists and 2 consumer members who are not and who have never been acupuncturists or members of any closely related profession. Members are appointed for 4-year terms or for the remainder of the unexpired term of a vacancy.
